Summer Art Gala
An evening of art, music, and hands-on activities featuring talented youth from your neighbourhood. Come and interact with these budding artists, take a tour through the art gallery, grab some food, and watch them perform live onstage, then join our youth DJ’s for the after-party! Family friendly, with free food and drinks!

Teen Art Drop-In: Métis Paddle Carving
Let’s we celebrate Métis art and culture. On August 29, Métis artist Pat Calihou will facilitate a workshop on wood carving. Learn how to make your own miniature paddle. Discover something new about Métis art and culture. Free events for teens 13-18 years old

20th Annual Fleetwood Festival
Celebrate 20 years of diversity, culture and community pride through a day of fun, entertainment and community building for all in Fleetwood. Free event for all.

Pie in the Plaza
Celebrate Agriculture Week at Central City Plaza (right outside Central City Shopping Centre) for this fun family event and see the creation of BC's largest blueberry pie! Watch the pie being assembled and stay for a slice after the ceremonial pie cutting. There will also be other free family-friendly activities such as live music, pony rides, face painting, etc.

One Love Westcoast Fest
A Reggae, Latin and Afro festival that has been taking place on the lower mainland since 2001. Come and enjoy live music, local vendors and tons of delicious food. Free admission for kids, day passes for adults are $20.
